A light bulb cast inside a sphere of rotational moulded plaster. To use it, you have to break it open. How much plaster surrounds the bulb is unknown until the moment of impact, so the light output remains a surprise. For those who want to go further, the sphere can be pre-filled with paint, which spreads on breaking and throws colour into the room alongside the light.
