‘geloven in Vriendschap’
Scenography - Het NoordBrabants Museum
An anniversary worth marking, and a brief worth rising to.
The Noordbrabants Museum invited Kranen/Gille to design an exhibition celebrating 700 years of one of Den Bosch's most storied fellowships, a brotherhood whose members have included, among others, HRH King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.
At the heart of the exhibition was a long table, a form chosen deliberately. It speaks of gathering, of shared meals and long conversations, of time passing in good company. Stretching across the space, it made the weight of seven centuries tangible while paying tribute to the fellowship's historic meeting place, Het Zwanebroedershuis.
The exhibition was opened in the presence of HRH King Willem-Alexander.
