The “A...chair” series is based on our passion in its purest form. The archetype we use is the chair we recently presented during the Salone del Mobile in Milan. This chair is based upon the austria “volkskunst”, a style evolving from base values like craftsmanship, effectivity and durability. We chose this archetype to express our love for this craftsmanship, and it became a design object named “A forest” chair, carrying the story of Austrian myths in it´s backrest. The chair is made out of hig grade nutwood for the seating and 4 layers of laser cut aluminum for the backrest, which depicts the theme of the chair.

The chairs we designed for “priveekollektie” take us beyond the “a forest” theme. For this series of objects, we took our shared fascinations and re-interpretated them into a chair´s backrest.
